The 2004 baseball team coached by Mike Stockton finished the season 47-18, setting a school records for wins. During this season the Cardinals captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference championship and the NAIA Region 16 championship before falling in the super regionals. Eight members of this team were named All-America during their careers, six played professional baseball, and head coach Mike Stockton was selected the conference and regional coach of the year.
