Andrea Eddy graduated from Jewell in just three year, lettering in cross country and track and field. She placed second in the mile in the Heart of America Conference in 1983 after winning the HAAC cross country meet in 1982. At the 1984 HAAC Indoor Championships she won the mile and 880 and ran on the winning mile relay team. Eddy was also the HAAC 3-mile champion at a 1984 Outdoor Championships. Eddy set a total of seven school records in distance events and was named Jewell’s Famel Athlete of the Year in 1985.
