Ann was a 4 year letter winner in both Field Hockey and Basketball.  She was named William Jewell’s Female Athlete of the Year twice (1978 & 1979) and was the first female to receive this award twice.  A forward in Field Hockey, she led the Cardinals in goals and assists as a senior (the sport was dropped after her junior year).  She received the Offensive Player of the Year Award twice and was Captain of the squad.  Her coaches were Barb Macke and John Paul.  She was a 4-year letter winner in basketball where she was one of the top scorers and rebounders each season.  She was Captain of the team as a senior and her coaches were Vic Schulze and Tom Dunn (Dunn is also a WJC Hall of Famer).  Ann was a member of Kappa Mu Epsilon (National Math Honorary), Sigma Pi Sigma (the first woman to ever be President of the group) and a member of the Society of Physics Students (National Physics Honorary)

Upon graduation from WJC, Ann entered Washington University (St. Louis, MO) to complete her Engineering Degree (Electrical) where she graduated in 1981.  For the next eleven years she worked for McDonald Douglas (Commercial Flight Simulators) in St. Louis and since then she has been teaching part-time at John Burroughs High School (English Literature, Math & Physics) and coaching the Field Hockey Teams at University City HS while also working part-time for Dazor, a lighting design company.

Ann has two daughters (Carol Ann and Katherine) and currently resides in St. Louis, MO
