William Jewell College Athletics

Art Davis was two-sport standout during his career at Jewell. On the football field, he led the Cardinals to a 15-1-1 record with two conference championships. He earned All-Conference and All-America Honorable Mention honors in 1960, from the Associated Press. In track and field, he set the school record in the shot put and discus, leading his team to a Missouri Collegiate Athletic Union title.
