William Jewell College Athletics

Bill Cunningham lettered in three sports football, basketball, and track, earning three letters in each. He was a standout defensive end and receiver in football, receiving All-Conference honors as a sophomore, before his career was interrupted by military service in 1942. He also an inside force in basketball and participated in the pole vault, high jump, hurdles, shot put and discus.
