Fred Flook coached baseball at Jewell from 1962-1970 and again from 1975-2001. He is also a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame. His 1968 squad won the NAIA National Championship which was Jewell’s first national title in any team sport. He also helped to earn 23 conference titles on the field. Four of his teams, 1968, 1976, 1977, and 1983, have also been inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Along with baseball, Flook also was the assistant coach for football and served 10 years as the head wrestling coach.
