William Jewell College Athletics

Jimmy Ray Haynes transferred to William Jewell from Crowder College (Mo.) in 1976 and brought immediate success to the program and the pitching staff. He was a three-year letterwinner and had a win streak of 11 consecutive wins, including a no-hitter against Iowa State. During his career, he led the Cardinals to three Heart of America Conference titles and two appearances in the NAIA National Tournament.
