John Kiely was a standout men's basketball player from 1984-88, graduating as the all-time leader in career three point field goal percentage. He was named All-Heart of America First Team and NAIA All-District 16 First Team twice, along with four All-Tournament Team honors. He led the Cardinals to an overall record of 84-12, including three conference titles and an Elite Eight finish at the 1988 national tournament.
