Rich Boyle was a four-year letterwinner in football from 1965-69, while also lettering in track and field.
As a senior on the gridiron in 1968, he was named second team NAIA All-America after earning honorable mention honors the previous year. He was also a three-time first team All-Conference selection and played on four conference championship teams. In the spring of 1969 he was presented the Cecil Martin Award for Jewell's Athlete of the Year.
