William Jewell College Athletics

Johnson graduated from William Jewell College in 1984. The linebacker from Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, MO was named a 1st Team All-American in 1984. He was also an Academic All-American in 1983. Additionally, from 1982-1983 Johnson was included in Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. From 1982-1983 he was selected to Aeon’s (a men’s honorary fraternity); and in 1982 Johnson was named an Oxford Scholar. Tim Johnson was also named HAAC Freshman of the Year for football as well as1st Team All HAAC and 1st Team NAIA District 16 from 1981-1984. Johnson was also awarded with an NAIA Honorable Mention All American in 1982 and 1983.
