Cardinal fans gathered Friday night for the second annual "Happy Hour with the Cardinals" at the Power & Light District's KCLive! facility in downtown Kansas City.

Director of Athletics Darlene Bailey hosted the event, which featued Jewell head football coach Jerod Kruse and men's basketball coach Larry Holley as additional speakers.  See highlights in the video above.

Jewell starts its athletic season on Thursday night at home with a rare weeknight game beginning at 7:00 p.m. against Concordia University of Nebraska.  Cross country and volleyball will be on the road next weekend to open their seasons, but soccer will have single games at home Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the men playing on Friday and Sunday, and the women playing on Saturday.  All soccer matches next week begin at 2:00 p.m.
