William Jewell dropped a physical, turnover-filled contest in Wichita to Newman University 66-56 on Saturday.

The Cardinals never led in the game, getting behind 7-0 in the first few seconds of the game, and committing 26 turnovers against the Jets (7-2).

Nick Larson led Jewell scorers with 22 points and Mark Mason had 21 for the Cardinals, who have off until Friday, December 16th's non-conference game against Ottawa University in the Mabee Center.
