The William Jewell College women's basketball team won their third straight game defeating Great Lakes Valley Opponent Kentucky Wesleyan today in Liberty, Mo., 68-58. 

The Cardinals were able to build an eight point lead in the first half only to see the Lady Panthers cut it to two (32-30) at the half.   

Both teams were able to claim second half leads but the Cardinals were able to pull away going on an 11-2 run in the final three minutes of the contest. 

Junior Holly Switzer led all scores with 20 points while sophomore Chelsea Meeks added 14 points and a game high 7 assists.   Junior Katlyn Wood contributed 14 points for the Cardinals.   

The Cardinals, 9-3 and 4-2 in GLVC play,  will travel to Kansas City, Mo., on Monday January 16 to take on Rockhurst University at 1:00 p.m.
