The Cardinal women, battling for a share of the Western Division lead in the GLVC, dropped a six point decision to the Panthers on Thursday night.
Jewell (11-5, 6-4 GLVC) now falls two games behind the Panthers (13-5, 8-2) for the lead in the Western Division. The Cardinals got 17 points from both
Katlyn Wood and
Holly Switzer, 11 points from Cassy Nicholay, and 10 from
Aerial Smith. Smith also had four assists and four steals.
The Cardinals forced 23 Drury turnovers and only turned the ball over 12 times themselves.
The Jewell women return to the Mabee Center to face Missouri S&T Saturday afternoon at 1:00.
