William Jewell College head tennis coach
Paul Worstell announced Monday afternoon the signing of Glendale High School (Springfield, Mo.) tennis standout, Hayden Fulk for the 2016-17 year. Fulk is a two-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net and ranked inside the top-ten in the state of Missouri.
Â
"I am so excited for Hayden to join our program next August," said Worstell. "First of all, he has high character and will no doubt be a leader on our team one day. Second, he is a great student and will fit in the Jewell classroom environment from day one. Lastly, he is an outstanding player and I have no doubt his best tennis is ahead of him here at Jewell."
Â
A perennial All-District performer, Fulk has been a varsity letterman on Glendale's lineup all four years. He is the reigning district doubles champion and was a State doubles qualifier as a junior.
Â
Off the court, he is a member of Student Council, FBLA President, and Vice President of National Honor Society.Â
Â
Fulk will look to major in Business at William Jewell.Â
