PARKVILLE, Mo. - The William Jewell men's golf team put together a 27 stroke improvement on day two of the Virginia McCoy Fall Invitational at The Deuce at the National Golf Club of Kansas City to finish eighth overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Aiden Sanders led the Cardinals with a 153 to finish in a tie for 10th overall. The freshman posted a 74 on day two, a five stroke improvement on the opening round.
- Fredrik Hersley posted the largest improvement over the two rounds, with a round two score of 73 to jump from 31st to 14th.
- Mitchell Elsnes came in at No. 37 with a two-day score of 162 after posting a 79 on Tuesday.
- Scotty Jolly and Timmy Hamilton rounded out the Jewell squad with a 167 and 168, respectively.
