BOLIVAR, Mo. – After leading through the first 16 holes of the first day, the William Jewell men's golf team finished eighth at the GLVC Championship at Silo Ridge Country Club.
Playing through extremely wet, rainy, and windy conditions on the course day one resulted in Jewell being only one stroke behind the lead after being up five strokes at one point at six-under. The second day did not fare as well for the Cardinals, shooting a 303 and 299 to wrap up their season at eighth in the tournament.
MEN'S LINEUP
- After beginning his tournament with an eagle on his first hole, Robin Persson finished tied for ninth at two over.
- Bryson Oots and Isac Fredriksson both tied for 19th shooting five over on the weekend, finishing with a 77 and 72 respectively in the last round.
- Playing third bag Carson Lee concluded the tournament tied for 47th, with Scotty Jolly shooting 30 over finishing tied for 73rd.
- Kade Richman played as an individual, tying for 53rd at a 232 overall score.
