WATERLOO, Iowa – For the second time in seven days, the William Jewell men's golf program won the tournament they were playing in while also having junior
Bryson Oots take home individual medalist honors.
Playing in Upper Iowa's event, the UIU Spring Invite at Sunnyside Country Club, the Cardinal men won by seven strokes, posting a tournament best +7 second round. It is the first time in program NCAA history that Jewell has had either back-to-back tournament or individual winners.
MEN'S LINEUP
- Oots ended the two day event with an even 144, good for a two stroke lead.
- Senior Robin Persson tied for second place, his fourth straight top-five finish, shooting +2.
- Finishing in eighth place Isac Fredriksson shot five over in the second round for a total of 151.
- Carson Lee finished tied for 31st, scoring a 157 while Scotty Jolly tied for 63rd after a bounce-back five over second round.

The men will take to the GLVC Championship tournament in two weeks, April 20-22, at the Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar, Missouri to cap off their historic 2025 regular season.
