Gwyn Gifford led the Jewell tennis team against nationally ranked Washburn over the weekend. The freshman earned a big win at No. 1 singles over Isabella Martensson, 6-2, 7-4 (4), rallying from down 4-1 to force the tie breaker and move to 5-1 on the season and avenge an earlier loss to Martensson.
