Bree Shannon averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists over two games last week. The freshman poured in a career high 19 points along with nine boards in a GLVC win over Illinois Springfield.

The William Jewell Athletes of the Week recognition is presented by David Starns Insurance Agencies. One men’s and one women’s student-athlete is selected for performance during the previous week, unless one gender does not compete then two of the same may be selected. Selection is made by the athletic department administration.
