William Jewell College Athletics

Jordan Jermain led the Cardinals to a 1-1 week, including a big win over Illinois Springfield, before narrowly following to GLVC leader Quincy, 67-66. The junior averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals during the week, while playing 39 minutes in each game. 

The William Jewell Athletes of the Week recognition is sponsored by David Starns Insurance Agencies. One men’s and one women’s student-athlete is selected for performance during the previous week, unless one gender does not compete then two of the same may be selected. Selection is made by the athletic department administration.
