Oots opened the spring this week at the Tunica Cup in Tennessee where he led the Cardinals with an individual score of 218 to set the new NCAA era record by three strokes. He posted 70-76-72 scores to finish seventh overall and was second among the field with 13 birdies including on his last two holes to set the record.
