Kendal Franklin posted a high jump of 1.60 meters on Saturday at the Bearcat Open at Southwest Baptist. This mark led her to a second place finish at the meet and broke a four-year-old school record, previously held by Julia Parker (twice, 2015/2018) and Sara Shippy (2011). The freshman, two-sport athlete, is the first of the outdoor season, and fourth individual overall, to take down a program mark.
