Fredrik Hersley led the Cardinals at The Mule on Monday and Tuesday to a team score of 899, tying the team’s NCAA era record and placing 33rd out of a 100-player field. The senior shot 221 over 54-holes, just three strokes off the current NCAA record, set two weeks ago by a teammate and a total that matches the previous record. In round one, he put up a career low 68, tied for second in an 18-hole round in the NCAA era, one stroke off the record.
