Cydney Banks led the women’s track and field team last weekend at the Lincoln Open, picking up a win in the shot put. The sophomore posted a toss of 14.62 meters to break her own school record and move into first in the GLVC and fourth in Division II. She also finished second in the hammer throw (49.89 meters) and eighth in the discus (38.40) on her way to GLVC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the first time.
