Bella LaPorta shined in the opening weekend for Jewell volleyball, averaging nearly five kills per set and scoring 5.27 points per set. The junior tied the NCAA era single match record with 26 kills against Kentucky Wesleyan on a .422 clip. She finished with two double-doubles against KWC and No. 13 Northwest Missouri State.
