Bella LaPorta enjoyed a career weekend, becoming the third player in program history to cross the 1,000th career kill mark on Friday night, leading the Cardinals to a reverse sweep of Southwest Baptist. On the weekend, the junior picked up back-to-back 20-plus kill matches, averaging 5.00 kills and 2.67 digs per set with two double-doubles and hitting .385.
