Patterson averaged 25 points last week, which included a career-high 32 point output on Wednesday at Southwest Baptist, to go with 6.5 rebounds, and four steals per game on his way to GLVC Player of the Week honors. The junior shot 66% from the field, and 70% from long range, including an NCAA era record eight triples to lead the Cardinals to the road win at SBU. In a key victory over Illinois Springfield on Saturday, he scored 18 points and led the team with eight rebounds and five steals while hitting a game tying three with four minutes to play after which the Cardinals retook the lead for good after trailing by double digits.
