Sands scored her second goal of the season on Friday night to help lead the Cardinals to their first conference win of the year at Lewis University. The junior scored in the 79th minute to tie the game before the Jewell won it in the 85th minute on a rebound. Sands finished with two points and four shots, all of which were on goal, while playing all 90 minutes.
