Sands put together a five point weekend last week as the Cardinals defeated Quincy University before falling in a tight match with Upper Iowa. The junior scored two second half goals against the Hawks, including the game winner with less than eight minutes to go. On Sunday against Upper Iowa, she had two shots with one on goal and assisted on Jewell's early game-tying goal.
