Keith Hayes averaged better than 22 points and two assists per game as the Cardinals took part in the prestigious Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. Jewell took on No. 7 Queens and Tarleton State, who is also receiving votes in the national polls, falling by less than 12 points to each. Following the weekend, Hayes was named the All-Tournament team.
