Keith Hayes averaged 23 points on 17-of-29 shooting (59 percent) and three assists per night while leading the Cardinals to a split weekend, with a Saturday win over Quincy University. On Thursday, against Truman State the senior scored his 1,000th career point becoming the 43rd Jewell player to surpass this milestone, but joined Larry Hall '99 as just the second in program history to do so in less than two seasons as a Cardinal.
