Alisha Samuel spent four seasons at the helm of the William Jewell track and field and cross country programs after previously serving as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2013-14 season.Â

• Recruited and coached 2022 GLVC Freshman of the Year Cydney Banks who won the discus and finished second in the shot put
• Mentored the first GLVC Champion for Jewell since 2017 in junior Ryan Hoffman in the decathlon in 2019
• Brought home three total medals at the 2021 Outdoor Championships
• Hoffman finished second in the heptathlon at the 2020 GLVC Indoor Championships to earn All-GLVC honors
• Oversaw athletes setting 10 career bests at the 2020 indoor championships
• Helped mentor Taylor Golden who set and broke her own records in the weight throw and discus numerous times
• Coached four All-GLVC performers and had more than 58 Academic All-GLVC honorsÂ

• Came from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio where she coached sprinters
• Helped athletes to new school records in the 60-, 100-, and 200-meter dashes and 4x100 relay
• Helped mentor an All-American, produced seven All-North Coast Athletic Conference titles, including five relay teams, and had multiple sprinters break school records
• Led a senior student-athlete to a NCAA III national championship in 400-meter hurdles
• Coached an athlete in 2016 to a seventh-place finish in the 400-hurdles and the women's 4x400 meter relay team to a third-place finish at the conference championship
• Spent two years working as a graduate assistant at her alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University, where she oversaw the men's and women's sprint programs
• Coached eight All-Conference performers, including the 2008 MIAA Freshman of the Year

• Was a two-time All-American in the 60-meter dash and made six appearances at the NCAA II National Championships at Northwest Missouri State
• Won five MIAA titles in the 60-, 100-, and 200-meter dashes and earned 17 All-Conference honors from 2003-06
• Was also a five-time MIAA Track Athlete of the Week
• 2005 Northwest Missouri Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Year

• A native of Trinidad & Tobago
• Holds a bachelor's degree in business management and a master of science in health and physical education with a concentration in athletic administration, both from Northwest Missouri State
