The William Jewell College men's soccer team blanked the Truman State Bulldogs 1-0 this afternoon in Kirksville, Mo.

Nathan Seider scored off a rebounded shot that hit the goal post in the 17th minute. His goal was unassisted and it was his second of the season.

The Bulldogs put up 21 shots during the contest compared to 14 for the Cardinals.  Truman also held a 7-5 advantage in shots on goal. 

Keeper Justin Schmidt finished with seven saves and earned his third shutout of 2011. 

The Cardinals, 8-5 on the season will take on University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, October 14 at 3:30 p.m. in Somers, Wisc.
