The William Jewell College men's soccer team saw it's five game winning streak snapped today as they were shutout 3-0 against Lewis University in Great Lakes Valley Conference action in Romeoville, Ill.
Lewis sophomore Cristhian Ramirez scored two first-half goals to help push the host Flyers to a 2-0 halftime lead.
The Flyers were able to put the game out of reach in the second half, as Robens Decius scored his third goal of the season in the 60th minute.
The Cardinals outshot the Flyers 17-10 including an 8-6 advantage for shots on goal.
Cole Prather led the Cardinals with four shots.
The Cardinals, 9-6 on the season will take on St. Joseph's College on Friday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Greene Stadium on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
