The William Jewell College women's soccer team fell 1-0 on Friday afternoon against University of Missouri-St. Louis in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game in Liberty, Mo.  The loss breaks the Cardinal's 5 game home winning streak and is the first home loss for the Jewell women in 2011.

The Lady Tritons lone goal came in the 63rd minute from Kelly Muesenfechter off an assist by Brittany Harbaugh.  

The Cardinals outshot the Lady Tritons 13-8 and held a 6-3 advantage for shots on goal.   

The Cardinals, 6-5 on the season will take on Maryville University on Sunday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Greene Stadium on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
