Women's Soccer Wins Second Straight

The William Jewell College women's soccer team picked-up its second consecutive victory on Friday evening by defeating Kentucky Wesleyan College in a Great Lakes Valley Conference tilt.

The Cardinals jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead as Mallory Malone, Lauren Rein and Sarah Franklin all knocked home goals.

Kate Beaver added a second half goal and the Cardinal defense was up to the task only allowing one goal.

The Cardinals, 4-3 on the season will take on University of Southern Indiana on Sunday, September 25 at 12:00 p.m. at Greene Stadium on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
