LIBERTY, Mo. – On a frigid Halloween night, the William Jewell women's soccer team faced off against the Lincon Blue Tigers, winning 2-1 courtesy of a late penalty goal. This win brings their record to 2-10-4 on the season, with a 2-8-3 GLVC mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lincon's Angela Reynolds opened the scoring at the 21' mark with a penalty kick.
• Down early, Jewell's 
Maddy Follmer evened the score to 1-1 at the 69'.
• 
Lux Sands scored a penalty kick goal at the 82' mark giving Jewell the lead with under 10 minutes left in the game, securing the 2-1 win.

• Getting her first collegiate start in goal, 
Dilyn Davies allowed only one goal while collecting five saves.
• Follmer's goal marks the first of the season
