Box Score Junior Matt McDevitt scored his eleventh goal of the year today, but the William Jewell College men's soccer team allowed two second half goals and fell to the Bellarmine Knights 3-1 at Greene Stadium on Friday afternoon. 

The Cardinals are now 10-3 overall and 8-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.  The Knights improve to 7-2-3 and 6-1-3 in league action.

The Knights got on the scoreboard first when Robert Bowling knocked home a penalty kick after a yellow card was called on Ryan Squires of Jewell. 

The score remained tied at 1-1 until late in the second half when the Knights countered with two goals five minutes apart at the 68:00 and the 72:08 mark respectively. 

The Cardinals are back in action on Sunday as they host McKendree University at 2:30 p.m. at Greene Stadium.
