Box Score Chris Binns scored an unassisted goal at the 80:28 mark of the second half and Shane Bowlen added a second goal four minutes later to lead The William Jewell College men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting Missouri S&T at Greene Stadium on Friday evening. 

The win snaps a two-match losing streak for the Cards which improved to 11-4 and 9-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. 

Binns recorded his fourth goal of the season to give the Cards the 1-0 lead late in the contest. 

Bowlen put the game away with his second goal of the season when he found the back of the net off a pass from Forrest McCurren in the 84th minute. 

Goalkeeper Joe Keeven, stopped four S&T shots on goal in registering his sixth shutout of the season. 

Jewell returns to action on Sunday as they travel to Springfield, Mo., for a GLVC tilt against Drury University at 2:30 p.m.
