The William Jewell College women's soccer team fell 3-2, on Friday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at Greene Stadium in Liberty, Mo.  First-year player Jessica Saffell kicked home the game-winner with less than 20 seconds left in the game to give the flyers the win.

After falling behind 1-0, the Cards scored two unanswered goals by Jade Gifford and Sarah Franklin in the 55^th and 67^th minute respectively.  Lewis outshot Jewell 14-13 including a 10-9 edge for shots on goal.

The Cardinals 3-1 on the year continue GLVC play on Sunday as they host University of Wisconsin-Parkside at 12:00 p.m. on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
