The William Jewell College men's soccer team picked up its third straight win on Sunday with a 2-0 shutout of Great Lakes Valley Conference foe University of Wisconsin-Parkside at Greene Stadium.

The Cards jumped out to a quick lead as senior Forrest McCurren scored off an assist from Matt McDevitt at the 1:14 mark. McDevitt then added an insurance goal at the 56:36 mark with an unassisted goal from the top of the box to seal the 2-0 win.

The Cardinals outshot the Rangers 14-8 including a 3-1 advantage for shots on goal. 

Jewell travels to St. Louis, Mo., to take on Maryville University Friday, September 21 with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m.
