University of Missouri St. Louis scored a goal in the fifty ninth minute as they held on to a 1-0 win over William Jewell on Sunday afternoon in St. Louis, Mo. The loss snapped a four-match winning streak for the Cardinals.

Chris Pearson scored his third goal of the season at the 50:39 mark with assists from Chad Haymart and Jordan Bruce for the Tritons.

The Tritons held a 7-6 advantage in shots but Jewell led in shots on goal 3-2. 

The Cardinals 5-2 (4-2 GLVC) returns to action on Tuesday, as they face Southwest Baptist University at 4:00 p.m. in Bolivar, Mo.
