The William Jewell Cardinal women's soccer team picked up its third straight Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) win on Sunday afternoon in a 2-1 triumph over University of Missouri-St. Louis.  Sarah Franklin scored both goals for Jewell one in the 18^th and one in the 58^th minute respectively to lead the Cardinals in the victory.  With the win, Jewell improves to 6-1-0 (5-1-0 GLVC).

Franklin scored her first goal of at the 18:36 mark to jump-start the Cardinal offense.  Franklin stole the ball and fired a shot from 18 yards out on the left side of the goal for the early 1-0 lead.  It was Franklin scoring again in the 58th minute with a cross to the right side from Sydney Jones.  Franklin's two goals marked her sixth and seventh of the season.

The Cardinals will travel to Bolivar, Mo. on Tuesday, September 25 to take on Southwest Baptist University at 2:00 p.m.
