William Jewell senior Sarah Franklin scored one goal in each half as the William Jewell College women's soccer team defeated Saint Joseph's College, 4-1, in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match this afternoon in Liberty, Mo. 

Sophomore Kenzie Kellogg put the Cardinals on the board first at the 10:43 mark when she knocked home a goal off a pass from Franklin.  Franklin then scored the first of her two goals at the 31:38 mark and Olivia Dykes scored at the 48:46 mark to give the Cards a commanding 3-0 lead heading into halftime. 

Franklin notched her second goal of the contest at the 79 minute mark after the Puma's scored their only goal just 15 minutes before. 

Jewell dominated in shots 17-9 and led in corner kicks 9-1. 

William Jewell improves to 9-6-1 on the season and 7-5-1 in GLVC play.  The Cardinals return to action on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. as they face off against the University of Indianapolis at Greene Stadium on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
