The William Jewell College men's tennis team opened its Spring Break trip with a 9-0 win over Bloomsburg University on Monday afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  The Cardinals won all nine matches in straight sets in improving to 4-3 on the spring season. The Huskies fall to 0-2.

Jewell swept doubles action winning 8-2 at No.1, 8-1 at No. 2 and 8-0 at No. 3. 

Junior Shane Giannetti won his match 6-0, 6-1 at No.1 singles and junior Bryan Thomas won his match 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. 
Bronson Brassel (No.3), Michael Rawat (No.4), Jimmy Hunter (No. 5) and Max Cooper (No. 6) all won in straight sets for the Cardinals. 

Jewell returns to play Tuesday with a match against Kutztown University at 3:00 p.m.
