The William Jewell College men's tennis team swept its way to a 9-0 victory at Grand Island Tennis Center on Saturday morning in Grand Island Neb.

Jewell was able to get on top 3-0 after doubles play with 8-2 wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles respectively.  The No. 3 doubles match was won by default as Colorado Christian did not have enough players.

Shane Giannetti and Bryan Thomas won their matches in straight sets and the Cards out the victory with three pro-eight sets from Bronson Brassel, Michael Rawat, and Jimmy Hunter.

The men's squad returns to the courts next Saturday, Feb. 23, at home against Georgia Southwestern at 2:00 p.m.
