The No. 12 Drury University Panthers proved their spot in the national polls Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 win over the William Jewell College men's tennis team in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Drury swept all three of the doubles matches and the Cardinals closest doubles contest came at No. 2 as the tandem of
Bryan Thomas and
Max Cooper fell 8-5.
Drury swept all six singles matches with the closest match happening at No. 6 as senior
Chris Reimer fell 3-6, 6-2, 10-6.
The Cardinals end their 2014 season with an overall record of 4-8 and 0-5 in GLVC play.
