The William Jewell College men's tennis team hosted the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup.   The Cardinals dropped their fourth straight match in an 8-1 decision at Clayview Country Club.

The Tritons took momentum of the match with a 2-1 lead coming out of doubles.  Jewell earned their only dual point as Jimmy Hunter and Michael Wiskirchen won 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. 

UMSL swept all six singles matches with five of the six matches going in straight sets.  Bryan Thomas lost a tough three set match at No. 1 singles. 

The loss drops Jewell to 4-6 on the season, and 0-4 in GLVC play. 

Jewell will host Washburn University on Monday, April 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Clayview Country Club.
