Box Score The William Jewell College women's soccer team managed its third consecutive tie as the squad shutout Saint Joseph's College 0-0 in 2 overtimes Sunday afternoon at Joseph L. Minielli Memorial Field. The draw brought the Cardinals' record to 0-0-3 on the season and 0-0-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Pumas remained winless at 0-3-1.

Gabby Brooks each had two shots on goal for Jewell.
Alex Dressman had six saves in 110 minutes of play in goal for the Cardinals.
Jewell led in corner kicks, 5-2, and fouls were 19-15 against the Pumas. Saint Joseph goalkeeper Melissa Kuhar played all 110 minutes for the Pumas and made seven saves.
William Jewell returns to action on Friday, September 19, when the team will host Lewis University in their 2014 home opener. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p .m. at Greene Stadium.
